'Percy Jackson and the Olympians' was based off of Greek mythology. So there is some stuff you should know.
- hellhound = size of a dumpster,black,red eyes and, Mrs. O'Leary is the only friendly hellhound.
- centaur = half horse, crazy most of the time, love root beer, really good at archery.
- saytr = half goat,play the panpipes,are all ways looking for the god pan.
- Cerberus = huge rotweiler, with three heads, hound of Hades, likes red rubber balls, and is half transparent.
- cherry-color cows = red cattle sacred to Apollo.
- chimera = huge monster with the head of a lion, the body and hooves of a goat, and a diamondback snake winch grows out of it's butt.
- empousa = horrifying creatures of the underworld that feed on human flesh. usually appear as cheerleaders.
- hippocampi = the front half of a horse and the back half of a fish.
- hydra = has nine heads and when you cut on off two more grow back.
- kampe = a creature with the top half of a women and the bottom half of a dragon. the dragon is 20 feet long and black.
- manticore = has the body of a lion and the face of a human and a spiked tail.
- minotaur = half man haf bull, percy's first monster.
- nemean lion = a lion as big as a pickup truck with gold fur.
- pegasi = winged horses. percy's pegasus is pure black and named blackjack.
- dracaenae = dragon women with green scaly skin, yellow eyes and, two tails.
